Last night we had the pleasure of popping by Dragon’s of Walton Street showroom, where they were holding a launch event in celebration of Jane Churchill’s new textile collection, Nursery Tales. How lovely is this collection?!

We are big fans of the painted ercol chairs – something I am thinking of borrowing as soon my little one can sit still for longer than 40 seconds!

The collection features classic illustrations of the likes of Winnie the Pooh, Paddington Bear, and our personal favourite, Beatrix Potter.

Missprint Wallpaper

It’s no secret that we are a huge fan of London design group, Missprint. Their collection of whimsical wallpapers leave us in a giddy stupor every time we come across them. Have a peek at this print that we just spotted on OhDeeDo:

All Missprint’s wallpapers are made in England without using harsh chemicals (the paper is even sustainably sourced).

Missprint wallpapers are virtually screaming to be plastered onto the walls of hip modern nurseries – we love them!!

The lead up to your due date can send one into an absolute tizzy (I convinced myself I was in labour a good month before I was due – undoubtedly a coping mechanism and not one I’m proud of!)

With that in mind, Olli Ella is thrilled to announce that we now hold a small amount of stock for our mamas who simply cannot wait or have saved the nursery furniture shopping until the last minute.

Olli Ella Glides Down Under!

Aussie mamas – we are over the moon to say that Olli Ella is now available in Australia!

The best part is that we have started manufacturing there too!

And this makes us so very happy for several reasons:

  1. It means minimising Olli Ella’s carbon footprint by not shipping feeding chairs across the world (although they do like to travel – particularly to warmer climates).
  2. Elimination of shipping costs to our Australian customers.
  3. A sneaky excuse to escape English winters! (Just kidding, we love wintertime!)

We have fallen madly in love with our little Go-Go Glider, the new nursing chair by Olli Ella. The Go-go has been around for just over a month and has Olli Ella mamas going gaga!

Today our smart new glider is having it’s pictures done (I have been flitting about like the mother of the bride making sure my baby looks good for her big day!)

Hi lovelies,

Anyone who reads this blog knows very well that Olli Ella had its official trade show launch this past weekend at Bubble. Not only did we exhibit, but 9 of our Mo-mas, Da-das and new Go-Go gliders outfitted the entire plaza area. It was such a thrill to see so many people rocking on our chairs! Hi mamas!

As you might know last night was the official Olli Ella Bubble London launch party – it took place at our former pop-up shop in Islington and was a smashing success! There were cupcakes, cocktails, and nursing chairs aplenty – we even unveiled one of our new additions to the collection, the Go-go Glider, which will be available through the Olli Ella site and select retailers next month.

Thank you so much to all of our wonderful friends for coming – it was unbelievable to get to chat with our favourite retailers and mummy bloggers. As you know we will be at Bubble London this Sunday and Monday – if you are there please pop by and see us (stand C32).

What’s New

Besides getting ready for our London launch and Bubble London we have been very busy designing two new additions to the Olli Ella collection. We can’t say too much (for fear of ruining the surprise) – but we are hoping to unveil them at our launch party next week!
